Insulation installation is a standard part of residential construction, but here’s the kicker, it actually matters how it’s installed. Gaps, compression, and air movement can all have dramatic impacts on the effective R-value of insulation and building assemblies. For that reason, the IECC has a variety of requirements for proper installation. This webinar will explain the impacts of improperly installed insulation, code requirements of proper installation, and “right” and “wrong” photographs and illustrations.
